There's plenty to fill the days that don't involve a rod. Sombrero Beach, the Turtle Hospital, snorkeling the reef, and the view from Seven Mile Bridge are worth the trip on their own.
And then there's the fishing. Grouper and snapper on the reef, wrecks holding amberjack, and blue water offshore for mahi mahi, wahoo, and marlin when the season's right.
